Certain activities, like the full-day jeep safari, carry a hefty price tag at $295 per person, and the jungle walk, while thrilling, lacks adequate safety measures against wildlife encounters. Additionally, mismatched online room photos can lead to confusion during check-in. The inconsistent hot water supply can also dampen the experience after a day's adventures.

The serene setting next to the river creates a peaceful oasis, enhancing the overall ambiance. Watching the elephants from my balcony was a remarkable experience, as was the delightful variety of sandwiches served during meal times. However, some activities felt overpriced for what they offered, and the hot water supply was inconsistent, making for uncomfortable showers. Additionally, although the staff was friendly, some service lapses bothered the experience at times.

The location is stunning, allowing for breakfast views of rhinos and elephants. The staff are incredibly friendly, making everything feel personal and welcoming. However, hot water can be inconsistent, and activities can be pricey compared to options in town. The food was particularly good, especially the fresh-cracked eggs and curries, though not the cheapest.

It was just a great match for a getaway in Sauraha with incredible value for money. The staff went out of their way to recommend local activities and were very knowledgeable about the area. Bring plenty of bug spray for the evenings.
